Kunstraum Residency
This summer I'll be doing a residency at Kunstraum LLC, an art gallery in Ft Greene, Brooklyn. I'll be spending the time on environmental projection, installations, and a few perfofrmances. Updates to come!
Across Tongues
In February, a new music/video performance piece created by myself and the Ukrainian folk-rock group Medukha, working title "Across Tongues: An Audio-Visual Inquiry Into Third Culture Confusion", had its first workshop presentation at Rutgers University, hosted by Rutgers and the New Jersey Folk Festival.
Wild At Heart & Weird On Top
I've posted some excerpts from "Wild At Heart And Weird On Top: An Audiovisual Tribute To The Films of David Lynch". This was a collaboration with the classical group The AEON Ensemble for Halloween 2019, combining a string quartet, singers, and an extensively notated video score to accompany the musicians. I've uploaded our Shostakovich/Twin Peaks piece, the performance of Saariaho's "On The Grammer of Dreams", and my favorite, our adaptation of the song "In Heaven".
